Perplexing Projects: Common Condo Review Issues
In this session, you will learn how to address issues such as budgets and litigation in condo project reviews for Fannie Mae approval. Join members of Fannie Mae’s Project Review Team as they share best practices and help you understand the tools and resources needed to improve your process. Debbie Edmundson is a Project Risk Manager for the condo project review team with Fannie Mae. Debbie joined Fannie Mae in January 2009. She is responsible for reviewing new and established condo projects for Fannie Mae approval. She works with Fannie Mae’s approved seller/servicers to ensure their understanding of Fannie Mae project eligibility and to review guidelines in addition to training our lender partners. Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Debbie was a Credit Risk Mortgage Underwriter for several years in the mortgage lending industry. Sherri Hollenbeck is a Project Risk Manager for the condo project review team with Fannie Mae. Sherri joined Fannie Mae in June 2009. She is responsible for reviewing new and established condo projects for Fannie Mae PERS Approval and Project Eligibility Waivers. She works with Fannie Mae’s approved seller/servicers to ensure their understanding of the Fannie Mae project eligibility guidelines. Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Sherri spent 30 years on the lender side reviewing, approving and submitting condo projects to Fannie Mae for approval, giving her an in-depth understanding of the complexities of a project review.
